Hey! I am a student currently attempting to decide between Muhlenberg and Connecticut College. I got around the same amount of merit aid from both, but got into the RJ fellows (honors program) for Muhlenberg (if anyone has any experience with RJ Fellows, please let me know!). I am thinking about majoring in philosophy with a minor in film studies and entrepreneurship. If anyone has any information to help with this decision, it would be much appreciated!
I would suggest that you either do the accepted students days at both schools, if you can, or take two day off of school and spend a day at each college. Sit in on a class, eat in the dining hall, hang out in the student union, talk to everyone and get a feel for the school. At the end of your two days I suspect you will have a strong feeling for one over the other. Best of luck to you!
Go visit both. Make sure to attend classes. An overnight is best to get the vibe.
RJ are change makers. They get a special freshman seminar, opportunities for experiential earning, and mentored research. It’s pretty cool and a way to arrive with a built-in community.
Both very similar. Visit for sure. Conn Coll is more recognized by the average person but that isn’t the reason to choose.
