I am using Common App to apply to most colleges and it's good for the most part, but it only lets you apply ED to just ONE college and I have multiple colleges (2) I want to apply ED to. What should I do in order to make this happen? PLEASE RESPOND!!!

I’d say that it only lets you apply ED to one college because…you only CAN apply ED to one college.

You can’t apply ED to multiple colleges because it requires a binding committment to attend if accepted. If you are so undecided at this point that you don’t have a clear favorite, then do not apply ED to any college. There are several competitive schools that have non-binding early action programs that allow you to place several EA applications at once. There are others like HYPS that only allow you to apply to their one school EA but by exception will let you apply to your in-state institution early.

That’s just with Common App though

dodmoful: as you’re about to embark on grown up person endeavors, you should strive to read the ED agreements with the various schools you’re targeting.

you’ll see that ED is allowed at only one school. Period.

And I’m the third poster to tell you the same thing…

Ok so the 2 schools are Syracuse University and Wesleyan University, which one do you guys think I should apply ED to considering the fact I equally want to attend both?

It’s a decision that we aren’t qualified to help you with. You need to ask yourself which one of them you can really see yourself attending, because if you’re accepted after applying ED, you can’t back out.

Of you are not sure which one is your absolute first choice, I would not apply ED at all… Or until you decide which one is perfect for you.
