Music business degree

<p>I'm currently a junior in high school and I am very interested in going to college for a music business/music industry degree. I want to stay in new York, but if I have to, I'll go to a different state. I've looked up a few colleges, and the reason I got interested in the major in the first place is because I looked at the Crane School of Music. It seems to be a very good program. Has anyone had any experiences at Crane for music business? That's where I really want to go, but my only concern is the audition. I've played clarinet for 8 years, but I've never been very good with auditions. I'm also no sure about what to play. Since a lot of people play the clarinet, is it harder to get in playing that instrument? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also are there any other good schools in new York for music business? Syracuse also looks very good, so if anyone has had experiences with them I'd love to hear about it! Thank you!</p>

<p>Definitely look into SUNY- Oneonta. It’s Music Industry major is very popular and attracts students from many states.</p>
