I just got my ACT results:

33 Composite

31 English
32 Math
35 Reading
34 Science

How does this stand with my acceptance to west point? Are these adequate scores? I know I have to have a lot of other things, but how does this ACT score fit within their standards? I am very interested in attending the academy.

great scores, but unfortunately, they only care about your math and english

my blue/gold officer (USNA) was in front of me with my file, and for test scores, this is all that was listed:

SAT:
Math: xxx
Verbal: xxx

ACT:
Math: xx
English: xx

that was for USNA, but I really doubt the academies are different in terms of what they look at

but nonetheless, still great scores

thanks! thats actually some important info

That method is used for only the Naval Academy (not sure about CGA or MMA). Air force and west point use your highest scores for ALL sections including writing parts. So it is beneficial to take the tests (ACT and SAT) numerous times to improve subdivisions.

Those scores are tremendous. If I were you, I would now focus in on ways to improve other aspects of your file (like GPA, ECs, etc.) Good luck!!
