So I'm taking AP French right now, and the teacher has the mentality that nobody is taking the AP test, so she's not teaching at the rigor that would prepare us to take the test at all. I feel like I am not learning in this class, and the whole goal of the class is to get an A at the end, not to pass the AP exam.
For example last year in her class, only 1 student took the AP exam for french out of the entire class.
So is there anything I can do for me to actually do well on the exam because I am planning to take it in may.

Actually ask the teacher? Study it yourself? Look at an old AP test and see what you should know?

^ That. Also while most teachers try to prepare their students for the AP test, they don’t have an obligation to. My AP lit teacher didn’t, but it just so happened that the way the he taught actually prepared us well for the exam in that we knew how to think about the open-ended questions. Your teacher could very well be inadvertently preparing you. Not to mention that classes are more fun when you’re not constantly doing practice tests and preparing for the exam.

College Board has downloads for each AP subject that have lots of information that might prepare you for studying for the test. These downloads are free.
