Hi everyone I am new here. I am in Moreno Valley College right now.I wish to transfer to either UCR or UC Irvine in a math major.I almost complete my studying in UCR and for now my GPA is 3.92 (I get A in all of my classes but English 1B,where I got a B).What chance then do you guys think I have to apply for UCR or UC Irvine.Are there other things I have to do to increase my chance?

Are you planning to TAG to either school? You look like a competitive applicant, but TAG will give you guarantee.

Well it all sounds good, but what is your major?
As a math major, if you do all of the prereqs and keep your GPA that high, set your sights higher like UCLA or Berkeley man. 
Good chances. Your GPA is good for top 3 UCs.
Ya, dude you have the GPA to be competitive for Berkeley or LA man.
TAG to Irvine or Riverside, and apply to other schools if you’d like. You’re definitely competitive enough.
I see your major is math (my bad, I missed it). I agree with @goldencub. Unless you’re set on living in those specific areas, you should TAG to one, but broaden your net substantially. Have you been to both campuses? The deadline is in 24 hours.

Sorry for late reply guys unfortunately I missed the deadline for TAG.I really appreciate all of your kind advice.I now plan to do UCB and UCLA and UC Davis as well

Hey, I just transferred from Moreno Valley College to UCI! I’m a Chem major and was admitted with a 3.2 GPA, so I’m sure youre more that likely to be admitted to UCI! Like the others said, youre also super competitive for the top 2 UC’s! Good luck!
