In 2011, about 1800 transfer students applied and only 306 got accepted(16%). Also, thr average GPA admitted was 3.93. What are your chances? It’s hard to say. A lot of qualified applicants get rejected because it’s really competitive. But you do seem very qualified.

I just wanted to add in case this wasn’t apparent, its not a BA program, its Business Economics and then there is normal Economics. It is a great, great program and recruited very well! Here are the stats just like mermaker stated

Since you are an honors student, aren’t you in the UCLA Transfer Alliance Program (TAP)? If you are, I’d say you have a good chance of getting in.

I heard about tap, and I may research more about that program to get in.

I’m an honor student, but most of the honor classes in my school are just general education, which has no relation to my major. Therefore, I didn’t take any of them.

Does anyone has experiences studying Business Economics in UCLA (BA)?

By the way, thank you for reminding me about TAP

By the way, do I have to complete the IGETC in order to transfer? By the time that I transfer, I will still have 1 more class in science to take. Thank you!

^Your admissions chances will greatly decrease if you will not finish IGETC the Spring before transfer. There has to be a way to fit in an acceptable class.
