My chances at Poly Pomona and Poly SLO

Based on my stats:

-overall A-G gpa: 3.1
-SAT: havent gotten score from Oct SAT yet, but 1800 on PSAT.
-havent taken the SAT subject tests yet, but planning to take math level 2 and US history)
-16 hours of community service.
-2 months work experience.

What would be my chances getting accepted at each Polytechnic school? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

SAT II's aren't used for admission purposes, just placement. It depends what major you are since SLO is impacted.

By the way, how can I change my major for SLO after I summit my app? Because after I summited my app, I emailed SLO asking them to change my major; a few days later, they replied, saying that they have processed my request; however, when I check the status of my application online, my old major is still there. Any ideas? Thanks.

a bite low on the GPA. uhmmm well :D its a shot!

depending on ur major. as long as its not architecture design or engeneering. bc those are more selective

What if I want to switch from one engineering major to another? (from computer science to biomedical engineering)

P.S., I also have a few E.C.'s such as GATE, CSF, Engineering club.

ive heard someone getting in with a 3.1 into liberal arts

I applied to Cal Poly Pomona Nov. 2 and was accepted today. With your gpa I'm sure you will have no problem.

Sorry, but you're not in range for SLO where average GPA was 3.9 last year.

The one issue that I have with cal poly is that it is too much of a commuter campus; Im looking for more of a college-town campus with more campus activities.

3,000 students live on campus at pomona. if you want more with those grades you might consider chico state.
