These are my reach schools (as in distance and cost.) I've already been accepted to my safety schools.

• 3.97 GPA unweighted

• 4.8 weighted (will go up before I graduate. It went from a 4.1 in 10th grade to a 4.8 in 11th when I changed schools)

•31 ACT (34 CR, 33 Math, 29 English, 29 Science)

My school does not rank because those at the bottom have a 3.75 unweighted GPA and a 4.0 weighted. I know, however that I am in the top 20% of my class.

I am a virtuoso pianist, and have been playing for eleven years. I have placed highly from a music school chain's yearly competitions. I am a intermediate violinist and guitarist. I volunteer with the youth at my church and sing in the adult choir. I am a published author and avid writer. I am an African American female planning on studying Computer Science with a household income of $48,000 (as of October 2013. My family's tax return will reflect an income of close to 100K this year, though.) I was a National Achievement Outstanding Participant (my SAT scores were only slightly above average; I was absolutely surprised at this news.) I also have 100 community service hours and will get the Florida Academic Bright Futures scholarship.

Also, I'm curious to your opinions on the possible aid I may receive to these schools.
