My chances in MSU?

I am senior, who is going to apply to universities this summer. But I am honestly only interested in going to Michigan. I moved here from India when I was in 9th grade.
My GPA is around 3.5.
SAT score is 1600.
ACT score is 24/ ..writing score is 8/12
I play guitar, exceptionally good at art, really good at badminton.
I live in texas and I know it's gonna be really expensive to live in Michigan and all. My mom is a teacher at a montessori school and my dad ditched my mom when I was in India like 3 years old. My mom has a really low wage to take care of herself and me. So, is there a possibility of me getting a grant or scholarship to pay all my tuitions? Also, Would I be accepted in MSU if i write really good essays?

Grants and scholarships will not be able to pay full out of state tuition, especially with your stats. MSU OOS tuition is ~$40,000/year, so ~$160,000 for 4 years.

I think you would have a good chance of getting in. However, even with some financial aid it is going to be expensive. I don’t think you will receive many (if any) scholarships through MSU because your stats are about average. However if you are able to look outside (especially getting scholarships with your talent in art) MSU might be a decent possibility
