My chances just dropped!

I am considering applying to Columbia ED but I am a bit worried about my SATs as my highest in one sitting is 2150 but my superscore is 2270. What do you think my chances are?

My SAT Is:
Date 1: 730M, 720CR, 670W - 2120
Date 2: 800M, 600CR, 750W - 2150
Superscore: 800M, 720CR, 750W - 2270

Hopefully they will consider the huge difference in CR scores and understand that I just messed up CR the second time round.

Will I be benefited by the fact that they will see my best scores only, on my CommonApp and that they will have to see my score reports to see my highest score in one sitting?

Can’t chance as I’m not in myself, but I’ve always wondered if students like you have any off-time in secondary school. Between IB and all of your ECs, it seems as though there’s hardly any room left for sex and drugs.

Whether you get in or not, you’ll wind up going somewhere impressive.

Your EC’s are quite impressive and will make up for a lower SAT score if you can truly stand out in your essay. Make sure you have a focus in your app to avoid looking like a laundry list…and if you really like Columbia, there’s no reason not to apply ED-especially if you are worried about weaker test scores.

they take your “superscore” as your official SAT result.
