I have just applied for Purdue University as an undergraduate freshman in Aeronautical Engineering.

PE

I have participated in many extracurricular activities including playing the piano in a concert for many times in school and play sports games in events.

Thank you so much! I'm looking forward to them!

If you need extra information, please, let me know.

hey dpianoboy, even i got the same SAT score, the only difference is that i m doing the IB diploma! Im waiting for my decision! Have u got ur decision as of yet? If not, do u have ny idea when they release the decisions for the regular applicants? Cheers mate!

I had a slight higher SAT, 3.8 gpa in highschool. I did not take too much AP courses but mostly science and math. Most of my activities were sports, I got in Purdue engineering.
It looks like you should be okay, just have a backup school in case. Purdue is a great engineering school, good luck man.

Oh thats amazing!! congratulations!! Do u know when u got ur decision? And do u remember when ur app was listed as complete and under committe review? Thanks alot and congrats againnn!!

Have you heard yet? I am guessing you got in!

Nope, it still says under committee review, its been an exact month since my app has been under the committee review! :open_mouth: Now, im getting scared!

I got into Purdue with a 31 on the ACT and probably about a 3.5 GPA with no AP credit and no PreCalculus. I did have four Junior College classes though (Physical Science, History, Biology, and Programming). I was from Mississippi and this was 1981 though.

I can’t imagine how hard undergraduate at Purdue must be now though if you are sitting on the fence with your background. Wow.

My daughter is looking at Iowa, and I have been gauging my advice based upon my experience. Maybe she will get blown away once she gets there? The in state entrance requirements are not that rigorous (25 ACT composite and math).

yea purdue is in the top 5 for aerospace engineering ! So i suppose their admissions have become more strict! But lets see! Awaiting my decision still! Best of luck to your daughter!
