1st Trombonist in concert band, jazz band, symphonic wind orchestra, brass quintet, + 3rd Trombone district XI band in 10th grade, 1st Trombone district XI band and 2nd Trombone District XI orchestra, and 2nd Trombone region VI band in 11th grade (my little music hook, I suppose).

After-school tutoring to elementary school students.

A LOT of people from my school are going to Rochester this year. I think about 4 or 5...two of which got full rides.

I'm taking AP Calc AB, AP English Literature, AP Spanish, and AP Government senior year. That's a total of six APs.

APs not offered at my school - Human Geography, World History, French Literature, German Language, European History, Italian Language and Culture, Psychology, Economics, Spanish Literature, and Latin Literature.

Therefore, while I'm taking an extremely challenging courseload, I'm not taking all APs. On the U of R website, it said that admitted students typically take between 2 and 7 APs. Since I'm going to take 6, that would place me in the upper end.

U of R is my best choice. I love the campus, the people, the lack of a core, the preparedness it will give me for law school, its great poli sci program, and its moderate...not extreme liberal or conservative disposition.

I'm socioeconomically well off I suppose...upper middle class in Philadelphia's main line. White. Jewish. So, no affirmative action for me. I was thinking that Rochester would be a match if I applied RD, and an almost sealed acceptance if I applied early.

By the looks of it, you're quite competative and well off. As with all colleges, if your school has a history of people going there then you will be better off than another school where no one has attended.

The AP question was just as a referance, I know some people go out of their way and challenge the AP exams while others have a plethora at their school and they end up taking a sampling.

Anyways with my school it was either AP or basic, we had no honors so I ended up with 9 or 10 AP's.

AP at my school was horrible. we only have a total of three courses. So I took two of three, couldn't take ap spanish since I was in French III.
As for ED, don't do it. Keep your options open, you will most like get in RD
