My Chances?

Hello, and thanks for bothering to read this. I’m currently a junior, and I fit the “smart slacker” role pretty well. I’ve accepted IVY League schools are pretty far reaches, but my first choice is NYU Stern, which I’m hoping I still have an alright chance of getting into. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I go to a somewhat prestigious private school.
I don’t need to worry about money for tuition in any scenario.
No class ranks at my school
GPA: 3.51 unweighted
SAT: 1460
ACT: 34

Classes:

I am a year ahead of my peers in Math and Science, and have been for a few years now.
Sophomore year: AP Bio (scored a 4)
Junior year: AP Calc AB, AP Computer Science, AP English 11, AP US History
Planned Senior year: AP Calc BC, AP English 12, AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics (they’re bunched into one class at my school), AP Chem, AP Latin, and Post-AP Computer Science

I have a plethora of clubs and sports under my belt, and plan on partaking in 3 Varsity sports Senior year. Additionally, I have interned at a chemical coating company as well as a small company that is developing technology to handle 5G internet. Award-wise, I have won a few squash tournaments and have received medals for achievements on National Latin Exams, but nothing particularly competitive beyond those.

Although I had a tough time adapting to the workload in freshman and sophomore year, my year-to-year GPA depicts a steady climb from a 3.33 in freshman year to where I currently stand at a 3.73 or so. I hope my ignorance in the past couple years hasn’t completely hindered my chances at a prestigious college.

If things are looking grim, are there any suggestions as to how I can dig myself out of this hole a bit in the next 8 months or so?

Many thanks.

Forgot to mention, I plan to have around 100 hours of community service by the time I begin applying to colleges.

NYU stern seems to be a high reach just GPA-wise, because you’ll be competing with applicants who got maybe 1 or 2 B’s all of high school who do basically any activity you can think of. At this point, I would suggest doing something related to business this summer, perhaps an internship and just work on finishing strong first semester senior year. Good luck!
