My essay; Read? Edit? Criticize?

<p>I have written a draft college essay, and I've had a few people read it and they've given me their input on it, but I'd like some more criticism. </p>

<p>According to Microsoft Works, it is 778 words. I'm not really sure how 778 stacks up for colleges that don't supply a specific length, but I printed out one of my college apps and realized they only want up to 500 words, so I'd like for you to also tell me what could be cut and have itstill get the main points across.</p>

<p>Also if you have a tonof free time and are bored, there's another essay that I wrote for a specific college asking for between 250 and 500 words. So now I have two essays that would love to be edited by anybody willing to help. Thanks!</p>
