<p>My ex and I finally broke up for good one year ago (we were together almost 2 years, he was very abusive and controlling). On March 13, I will have not talked to him for one whole year. I've been told that he's living with and dating a girl that is 26 (he's 19, I'm about to be 18; the girl used to date my BROTHER when he was around my age). I kinda want to call/text him and just see if it's true. The bad thing is that I had to change my phone # so he would leave me alone, and I really don't want him to know my number or start calling 24/7 again. The bad thing is that if those 2 really are dating, she will flip out and beat the crap out of me. Yeah.</p>

<p>It just bugs me that he's now with a girl he used to be with a lot (he wouldn't let me be around any guys including my family) and she's really fat and ugly, which makes me wonder if I'm maybe the same way. I haven't had a bf since then. I actaually have only been on 1 date since we broke up. I'm over him, but I feel like if I called, he would think that I was still into him.</p>

<p>Is it incredibly weird that I haven't talked to him for almost a year? Maybe I need to see a therapist about this whole situation.</p>

<p>I don't think it's weird that you haven't talked to him in so long. If he really was abusive, it's the best thing to do. </p>

<p>If you're really curious about his love life, then I wouldn't recommend calling him. If I were you, I'd find out any other way. Maybe friends in common? Facebook?</p>

<p>I don't really see why you want to contact him. If he was that bad, why do you care who he is seeing? Why does it matter (And I am not trying to be rude)? If I were you I would stay away and not get into a bad situation. Just my two cents, though...</p>
