What should i put for my work experience? :(

You could volunteer at a news/tv station, radio station or your local newspaper. They usually welcome volunteers and you could shadow some employees to get an idea of their profession. Also, if your school has a newspaper, literary magazine or any other media organization; I would definitely recommend getting involved.

I would love to volunteer at a tv station… i didn’t know that they would take volunteers!! But i really dont know where i can apply. Maybe I’ll look up on the internet …

No media outlet will take “volunteers” unless it’s a non-profit organization. It’s not legal to have people do work for nothing and make money from it. (Unpaid internships are borderline illegal, and those aren’t “volunteers” anyway, it involves an application/selection process.)

What is your career goal with the degree? That, ultimately, is going to determine what you pursue in terms of internships. Do you want to work as a front-line reporter? A media analyst? A publishing business (back office) manager?

I would like all those career you mention. Front-line reporter…and publishing back office manager… all sound very interesting. I’ve never done anything work related to those things though… i know it’s horrible.
I just don’t know which one i would be the most capable of. the only thing i can think of is i have volunteered in the library before…
But I would need at least some volunteer experiences that are related to my intended major?? i just don’t know what I can do for my E.C!! I want to put good tittles on my transfer application! I don’t even have that much time before I start the app too.

I was not a comm major, but I interned at NPR for a year in undergrad. They are usually looking for interns, and you can usually intern on a particular show you’re interested at your local station. I gained INVALUABLE experience related to comm there, including writing, editing, reporting (I got to go on-air), researching, contacting leads, interviewing people, even mixing/recording/editing audio. Even if it’s not what you eventually want to do, it’s good experience and gets your foot in the door. And, part of my job now is actually running communications for my company!

“I would like all those careers you mention” isn’t really an answer.

My suggestion to you is that you seek to work with the student media outlets on your community college campus - newspaper, Web site, et al. I graduated from a CCC with a journalism degree and gained amazing experience by working for (and eventually leading) the weekly student newspaper. That’s your best chance to get in on the ground level and learn what it takes to be a journalist.
