Community Service
He has around 200 hours of total community service ranging from volunteering at the locar voting office to coaching rec league soccer.

He is also very interesetd in UNC and it is his first choice.

In/out of state? If in-state, he has a good chance. If OOS, then it's a bit of a reach. The unweighted GPA looks good but the weighted GPA is fairly low. The SAT looks good for in state (average for OOS). The ECs look fine but make sure those are strong. Essays are also very important for UNC. Also, is this for EA or RD?

Just a repeat as I said on a different one, some UNC people have explicity said to me that GPA isn't what they look at as much as your actual grades. Because different schools even in the same area calculate gpa in totally different ways. So if the actual grades are strong that will help.

and yes, from a friend who knows a lot about their admissions process, OOS Essays are HUGE.

If I were you or anyone reading this last post from JessCollegeZapps, I would NOT take advantage of the services being offered without seriously vetting who this is. It sounds like a canned marketing presentation and perhaps a scam. BEWARE!
