<p>My mom has same notions about my “non-existent” social life.</p>
<p>The only difference: she likes the idea of me not supposedly having one. It gives her a sense of accomplishment that she did some thing right.</p>
<p>Why?
My mom’s fears because if I hang out with wrong people:
a) I might end up pregnant
b) I might end up being a crack-head or some drug addict
c) I might get arrested or some kind of legal trouble (almost happened)</p>
<p>My mom thinks i have no friends cuz i don’t bring any of them to my house. I don’t tell her that i don’t bring them over because she’ll greatly embarrass me…And then when she meets one of my friends accidentally, she thinks he’s/she’s the only friend i have.</p>

Me: “Not my boyfriend!”
Her: “Why don’t you just admit it?”
At this point, I do not respond…it just bugs me! He is this awkward kid at my church! >:[
