My SAT Conquest - Suggestions for Improvement?

Hey guys!

So. I am planning on taking on the SAT in March (little over a month from now) for my SECOND attempt. My first attempt was in January of Sophomore year.

I got a 640 Math, 680 CR, and 690 Writing.

GOAL FOR MARCH: 750 Math, 710 CR, and 760 Writing

If its Popsicle...its possible. That's the motto.

Here's my study plan for the upcoming month is to improve my scores.

Math:
-PWN the SAT Math is coming in the mail soon. I'm planning on absorbing that book like crazy this month.

Critical Reading:
-Vocab is my downfall so I am planning on reading through 300 Essential Words by Larry Krieger as well as Direct Hits Core Vocabulary.
10 words each day
-Go through strategies for narrowing down answers for passage-based questions

Writing:
-Still not 100% what I can do to improve. I'll probably go through Silverturtle's guide as well as Sparknotes SAT Writing guide. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Every weekend (6 weekends to go) I will take a Blue Book Practice Test and go over missed questions etc.

SO
What do you guys think? Do you think the materials I'm using will help me reach my goal?
I would really really appreciate any suggestions to improve my plan.

Thank you

Read the Times or Washington Post or something esp. arts and sciences sections. That may help in terms of the humanities and science reading passages. Students don’t want to do this. It helps. Try making up sample critical reading questions and answers–it will give you insight into the test writing process. Past that, practice and analyze, practice and analyze.
