Okay, way back in March 2003, I took the SATs and got a 800M and 650V. These were the SATs I sent to Stanford. Well just recently on November 6, I retook the SATs hoping to increase my verbal score and ended up with a 710M and 680V. Although my verbal score increased, my math score MAJORLY decreased, and thus my entire composite decreased from a 1450 to a 1390.

How is this going to look? I'm kind of nervous that they're going to think my original math score was a fluke.

They take your highest math and highest verbal...Don't worry colleges won't think it's a fluke. Colleges look for reasons to accept you rather than reject you.

So you got like 2 questions wrong on math... that could be all it takes to get a 710 (ok, ok, maybe 3). Colleges would be insane to make a big fuss over that.
