<p>K, I'm kinda nervous about this, but I think it's a substantial enough essay that I should at least get some input from people besides my parents and peers</p>

<p>I'm an (white) exchange student to Taiwan, Taiwan ain't like 'Merica that's for sure, which is basically what my essay is about.</p>

<p>This is for the common app (harvard and carnegie mellon)</p>

<p>and, if you think my english is bad from this post... it's 1:18AM, I haven't eaten solid food for 19 hours, and I'm slowling speaking less english and more chinese... but it's fine, i promise :p</p>
