My teacher told me to do an assignment for 10 points and I spent about four hours on it, forgoing studying for some midterms to complete it. A week later, she told me that it was only worth 5 points. I reminded her that she said it was worth 10 points. She said, "I did?! Okay. Well, then I'll have to grade it for accuracy." I told her that I had checked it with the answer key and had gotten every question correct except for one. She said, "It will be worth 9 points, then."

Then the stupid ***** (I'm sorry, but I'm angry) only put it in for 5 points once the school year ended and I couldn't see her anymore. As a result, my grade dropped to a B for the year, as I needed 9 points for the A. I worked so hard at this class this year and ended with .26 percent below the necessary grade needed to get an A. What makes me even more mad is that she kept implying that she would bump up my grade to an A at the end of the year, and egging me on to work so hard on this assignment and another dumb project that took forever. I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to please this idiot if she had just flat out said she wouldn't bump me up, but she kept leading me on.

This is an AP science class and I'm trying to go to one of the Ivy League schools (not just because they're Ivy Leagues...I don't feel like going into detail about this right now) to study English. I got A's in all my other classes this year and all my classes last year, but I have one B in a freshman year honors science course that happened similarly (I had an A but scored a few percent points too low on the final).

Is there anything else I can do?
