Yea, I'm kind of ****ed about the outages too, but I'm not gonna commit suicide. I don't understand why it can be up one minute then down the next AFTER the poweroutages. It's been off and on the last couple of days.

It's SoCal... they don't have tornados, they don't have hurricanes, and they don't have constant rain. So, they're plagued with earthquakes, el nino, and power outages.

No, I'm talking about myspace, I live in Norcal. There have been outages up here, but not on the coast where I live. Myspace has been off and on though. Annoying when you are trying to chat with friends.

I was never attracted to it. Facebook is more appealing, but not my thing either. I'd rather go somewhere and hang out....myspace is a crutch for the insecure

Not only is myspace a total waste of time, but EVERYTHING on it is saved into archives and never fully deleted. Schools and job opportunities often try to search out myspaces to see what compromising things their applicants have done when they thought no one was looking. There was an article about it in the New York Times, and people are getting rejected (and expelled) from schools for what they put on. Hey, think before you click.

I signed up for a myspace once. But I couldn't figure out how to update the profile and how to use it, and I forgot the site name and my password. So all I have is a blank myspace out there.

I think the whole thing is stupid. Do people besides me and all the others here asking for "good books" or "books that made you cry?" read anymore? Books rock, I want them back, from MTV and myspace.

To quote mis hermanos, the punk band The Dead Kennedys: "MTV! Get off the air!"

myspace is something that you have to be careul with if you are under 21.

You have to please set your profile to private and set it up where you only accept "invites" from people you know. Set it up like that, and then you can tell your pals your myspace url and have a neat time.

Never advertise your age on myspace if you are under 21 because there are some sick people in the world.

You can also block any weirdo who wants you to add them as a "friend".

I have a Myspace and find myself spending much more time here on CC. :D

I mostly use mine to search for new music (I also use Purevolume, etc..), but also to stay in touch with the people I don't see often. I find it less addicting than AIM (and easier to avoid people I don't really want to talk to) and more friends have it than Facebook.

Just don't be an idiot and you'll be safe from creepy old people and colleges/bosses/parents.

I have MySpace but well, it's quite dead because I quit this high-idiocy place in one day after browsing through it. Fancy web-pages and shizophrenic pictures of members are clearly disguisting. Common, who in the world puts RED as a background and BLACK as a foretext's color! For someone with some skills in usability this sounds horrible and completely childish.
But well, I still use the LiveJournal.com :)
