I am a Korean male from New Jersey. At some point, I will apply for the seminar. I hear that it is more difficult for New Jersey residents to get accepted into the program. My question is should I wait for March when I take my SAT or should I apply now with my PSAT. I am afraid that my score (212) will not be competitive.

dude, im korean too, and i applied to NASS and got accepted
you dont need to worry, if the PSAT is equivalent to 1800 or above, and GPA is above 88 generally they willl accept you

also im from NJ, im guessing you are from general korean town areas or towns nearby.
there is not much koreans or asian applying from anyother states except NJ, since NJ is heavily oreiental populated state. So dont worry, apply, and wait until you hear the news.

bring camera if you get accepted and apply to Boys State too, that will set you apart in your major application to USNA,
hope this helps

I’m certain that you are allowed to update your information after submitting, as this application counts as your preliminary. Submit what you have, and then after your SAT in March update them.

Thanks guys, I will be applying once I get my class rank. Also, I assume that I will have to miss a week of school for the program. Hopefully I can go.

hey, apply to west point summer seminar as well,
the seminars provide you with various options and oppertunity for you to
decide which academy lifestyle suit you better.
