National AP Scholar by the end of junior year

Out of curiousity, do colleges care? if yes, how much of a push do you think it'll give?

I doubt the title itself does much, maybe a little push. But the main thing is all the AP tests you took to get that title. Even if you didn't get the title, all the tests are impressive in themselves.

would colleges care if you are a national scholar by the end of the sophmore year?

Wouldn't be worth it for the little caring they might do.

yeah...i know someone who took 9 APs by the end of soph year. he was brilliant and got accepted everywhere basically--harvard, MIT, etc. he went to RSI and ended up at MIT.

I am a sophmore and I have 8 or 9 (one make up exam) 5s and a 1. Would I be considered a national scholar?

yes its something really good to put on an application. There are very few national scholars after junior year and after soph year is ridiculous. I definitely would include the title along with your scores.

oh, well i'm not going to be forcing it, since i already got it with this batch of AP's

i am so mad at myself because i have 7 ap scores and I am a junior... one more and i could have gotten the title.
blah.
