I'm trying to form a current list of major scholarships given out by schools to NHS since the most recent lists I can find are from a few years ago and many schools no longer offer those scholarships. Please provide the amount, if it is for in-state OOS or both and a link if possible.

This thread is so helpful! Of course my DD has no desire whatsoever to attend any of the above mentioned schools but just to know that it is available if nothing else works out (i.e. finances don’t work out for her to attend her choice schools), is a relief to me! Please keep building this list!

If your son or daughter wants to do Medicine, UAB is one of the best kept secrets. They even have a program where they automatically accepted in their School of Medicine.

For a NHS to get almost a free ride, and then have a secure spot later it is priceless…

i’ll also add, that the emsap program at uab is very selective (need above 34 act and they only take about 8 students), however , uab is still a very good school for premed, has an incredible honors program called sci/tech. The campus is surrounded by 7 hospitals so lots of opportunity for shadowing and volunteering.
It does have a full compliment of majors in all areas, not just sciences, great school!! have son there is anyone wants more info, can pm me

Texas A&M University offers a guaranteed $14,000 dollars over four years, and other scholarship opportunities. In addition, most National Hispanic Scholars are eligible to compete for other scholarships.

To keep things as consolidated as possible, I’m going to close this thread and refer members to the earlier, more complete thread that I referred to in my above post, it contains all of the scholarships cited in this thread:
