<p>A friend at school got a letter saying he didn't get it. I haven't gotten anything yet.</p>
<p>I have a friend who just got the letter in today saying he was one of the finalist, I am so jealous. I didn't even make it to semi-finalist.</p>
<p>My principal finally got a letter today (along with the cute lil' "certificate of merit"), and gave it to me. My home notification still hasn't come. This is in NY, btw.</p>

<p>I am too! Unfortunately, I'm not going to a college that offers scholarships and my parents don't work for companies that do either, so I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed for the actual Nat'l Merit Scholarship.</p>

<p>I just found out that I became a finalist yesterday..no paper work yet...The other 6 in my school also became finalists. Apparently, 16,000 became semi-finalists; 15,000 became finalists...</p>
