National Merit Question

Ok guys, hypothetical situation...

Student X puts College 1 as his first choice...he then visits College 2 and determines that is where he needs to be. He goes back home, but he can't find the little card to change his college choice. What does he do?

Just wondering, of course. ;)

I'm not sure, but it seems as though 'Student X' can fax the change without the card. OU provides a change form at their website for those wishing to change their designation to OU....their format might be helpful.

<a href="http://www.go2.ou.edu/documents/Change%20of%20College%20Choice.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.go2.ou.edu/documents/Change%20of%20College%20Choice.pdf</a></p>

I'd bet your child's GC has spare NM designation cards available if you need one, or ask the new 1st choice school & I'm sure they'd be happy to provide you with the proper format & place to fax the new designation to--faxes are faster than mailing via USPS anyway.

or you can just fax your new school to nmsc.

Call the National Merit Corporation and your problem will be easily solved.

thanks everybody...zuma - or anybody else with the info - what is the number that i should call?

Google National Merit Finalist & find the site for NMC & click on "Contact" button. You'll get the number (or the GC will have it).
