National Youth Leadership Forum: MED

I am going to the NYLF Medicine program this summer @ UCLA. Could past attendees please share their experinces and input.
-Plus, is anyone else going?

Ahhh>>>is There Anyone???!???

Well, I don't know how much you know about the program... But the food was just simply AMAZING! And if you are planning to become a doctor, it's a must go. I learned so much about medical school process, and life-long career as a doctor. Ummm... I wouldn't say it's worth $2000... All you do is go listen to speakers, and discuss that in groups. You don't get any hw, and it's all pretty laid back. You are almost always dressed up in formal attire.
Ask if you have anymore questions.

What sort of outfits for girls were considered "Formal" attire? And how many outfits of formal attire are neccesary?

FYI isn't not very prestigious and you shouldn't put it on your college app. My friend went and said it was really fun, but it wasn't necessarily a learning experience. Maybe if you've recently thought about medicine as a career, then perhaps you would learn something, but for people that have known for quite some time that medicine is for them, the stuff you learn is kind of redundant.

It's probably more of a social experience than anything else.
