I just recently got accepted to the North Carolina Governor School for Natural Science, and I was wondering how well respected/prestigious the program is to schools, both in state and out of state. Does Governor School look good on applications? This doesn’t have to be about North Carolina Gov. School specifically, just all governor schools in general.

My daughter attended NS Gov School (East) last year for Natural Science. Congratulations- you’re going to to have an exceptional experience (which is why you should attend Gov School, not to impress admissions counselors.) You’ll learn a lot, make some great friends, and enjoy life on a college campus. (And FWIW, she got into great schools and wrote about her time at NSGSE in her common app essay.)
