NC Residents EA

Kinderteacher:

What a hostile reaction to a high school kid who didn’t pause long enough to remember that Monday is a federal holiday and therefore no mail delivery. Lighten up.

accepted EA from NC! Go Deacs!

got my package today, im accepted to wfu but my heart is at UNC

congrats to the others accepted! Got my packet/acceptance in the mail this afternoon!

O.K. all you accepted students- who is definitely attending? Who will truly become a “Screaming Demon?”

p.s. I am going to my first Wake Forest basketball game in February. My son is a senior, and after three seasons of hearing how exciting the games are, we are finally making the trip from NJ! Can’t wait!

On the basketball games, it’s kind of interesting. The students are crazy and wild. But a lot of older people attend the games, so when I’m there with my friends screaming and yelling they um…don’t really like us. So if you want to go enjoy a basketball game and have one section of students go crazy it’s great, if you really want to get in the game go to Duke.

I have to say though, that there are times when everybody is crazy during some games, and against Carolina, State, or Duke the place is rocking.

And I was accepted EA :)

and in response to Kinderteacher, I would like to apologize I forgot Monday was a holiday, I did not realize that was offensive. Forgetting that can happen. Of course I respect Martin Luther King Jr. and what he did. For those who don’t know Winston-Salem has a street named after him.

I’ve been to alot more football games, then basketball, but I can say that even for the size of the student body, they are some loud and rabid fans. The Joel for basketball is one of the hardest places to play in the ACC.

kiderteacher; great i am from massachusetts together we will defeat the confederacy and instate mlk day in the south once and for all!!!

That would be nice, because Nathan Bedford Forrest day is in July and we do not have school, because of the agriculture and all.

You guys are too much! I guess this is what we could call “Wake wit!” Seriously, best wishes to all the students, no matter where you attend, you will all do well if you “bloom where you are planted.” Good luck!
