I was deferred EA from nc state university. My first choice was life sciences with a bio intent, second was Spanish. I’ve heard that during the first round of admissions, they only look at your first choice major, and I’m guessing that’s why I didn’t get accepted. I spoke to an admissions counselor and she told me that bio was one of the competitive majors this year. Before the second round of decisions, should I change my first choice major to something less selective and keep my Spanish as second choice? Or would that make them think that I’m not actually that interested in bio?
