<p>Has anyone heard whether they received a Certificate in the NCTE award process yet? Do they announce in September?</p>

<p>I won too and I'm pretty excited. The thing they sent said that some high schools in Canada and abroad compete, so could this be deemed an international award? Also they sent some certificate things they said to "sign and attach to college applications." Is this a good idea? I seem to remember someone saying that most colleges prohibit the sending of additional papers.</p>
<p>Congrats on everyone who won. Its a very nice award to have and make sure you put it on your apps.</p>
<p>Oh, be sure your essay is good though; its contradictory if you win an award like this then turn in a terrible essay.</p>
