NCTE Question

Hey guys!

I have a quick question regarding the NCTE writing competition for juniors. Yesterday, I wrote my impromptu essay, which I thought was pritty good. However, today, I was just reading through a copy of it and noticed that there were a few typos and faulty pronouns in it. Apparently, I did a poor job editing it. Will this affect my chances of winning this competition (I live in an easier state, Nebraska).

Thanks,
Robbie

A few typos won’t destroy your chances at winning, but they might decrease your chances depending upon their severity. I wouldn’t sweat it too much; what’s done is done, right?

Good luck. I’m entering also (from Neb. too!). I started a thread about it a while ago, but few people posted: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/689133-ncte-achievement-awards-writing-2009-a.html

Thanks man! Good luck to you as well. Hopefully we’ll both get it = D.
