Hi everyone!
I was admitted to Notre Dame Mendoza and Georgetown McDonough and am having a really hard time deciding.
I really like the community aspect of ND and the dorm system/social scene/football, but I’m not religious at all and am from a pretty liberal city. I’ve heard ND is pretty conservative (not saying that’s bad, just different from what I’m used to). I haven’t met anyone who regretted going to ND, seems like the alumni network is amazing! On the other hand the location of Gtown seems unbeatable and I feel like it’s more liberal/progressive and similar to what I know. College in DC would be a pretty cool experience. I’ve visited ND and loved the campus but didn’t get the chance to visit Georgetown before Corona.
If anyone can provide an insight into the social scene/overall vibe at either school that would be greatly appreciated. It seems like they are pretty similar academically, so at this point I’m mostly comparing the atmosphere. I want to broaden my horizons in college and am looking for the best fit to do so and have a good time Any help is appreciated!
