Necessary to stay all 3 days at freshman orientation?

I registered for freshman orientation and got my confirmation brochure already, but it says that its necessary to stay all three days when I asked people who attended UT that they only went the first day and everything was ok.
Anyone know if I have to stay all three days? and if so, is it too late to register for housing?

I would stay all three days. You’re paying for all three. You don’t have an option to pay for only one or two days. So I would get what you’re paying for. Plus the longer you stay, the more chances you have to make friends. Orientation is there for students to help them.

And it’s not to late to register for housing.

You don’t register for your classes until the last day. You don’t want to miss that!

Yeah, you really have to stay all three days, because there are lots of annoying wing meetings and all up to the end of day two, and if you miss a mandatory session you won’t be able to register for classes. Also, at nights during orientation will probably be some of the most fun you’ve ever had seeing as you will have the people you go out with and every party in west campus at your disposal.

Okay great. Thank you guys.
And fortunately, I signed up for housing just tonight.

However, I heard that registering for classes is online? Or is an option bc the lines are really long at orientation?

If you go to orientation, you will be allowed to register on line from anywhere during the morning of the last day of your orientation session.

What MidwestMom said. Your orientation wing people will act like it is all important for you to go to the FAC to register so they can help you but it is ultimately unnecessary. Get all your questions about classes and registration answered before that last day.
