Need Advice on Transferring to UC Berkeley: w or w/o taking the physics part of IGETC

Hi, I am currently a college freshmen and would like some opinions on what should I do on my transfer career. My major in molecular and cell biology and the information that I saw for the requirements listed for my major was that I do not need to fulfill the physics portion of my IGETC at my junior college and may take it at UC Berkeley (school that I REALLY WANT to go to!). What I want to ask is that: should I complete this portion before transfer or is it ok if I just take it at UC Berkeley? But then again I don't know if I will get accepted to this particular school or if the other UC schools have this type of agreement. what do you guys think I should do: complete physics before transfer or after?
Thank you so much!

Concentrate on Chem and Bio first. Math and IGETC second. Then IF you have time then take physics.

…i’d rather focus on math and igetc first so u can clear math requirements for science classes and get units that will hopefully give you enough priority to get into hard to get chem and bio classes…but yea, physics should be the last priority

physics should be the last thing you need to worry about. this is only your first year of college, so there is a lot of time left. if you do not complete it you can always complete it at UCB. complete IGETC, math, and bio first. those are the things you need to complete before transfer.

Thank you so much to all of you! Your responses are much appreciated! Good luck with all your school endeavors and peace out!
