Okay so I took Literature in May and got a 730, which isn't great- only 90th percentile- and I had been doing better on practice tests. Plus I got a 780 in College Board's book of all the subject tests. I'm looking to go Ivy League/top school level, and I really don't know what to take on Saturday. I signed up for Math 2 which is fine, but I also signed up for Biology. I came to the realization that bio just isn't going to be so great for me though, because I've been getting 670-690 on practice tests by Barron's/The Princeton Review (though I didn't take the PR ones under test conditions but the point still stands). Should I retake Literature even though I haven't studied for it since the last time and hope that last time was just a fluke (I mean you can't really study for Lit anyway, but would it matter to colleges? Would I be screwed if I ended up lower? Looked down on if I did better on a second try?), wing it with io, or just play it safe and keep the lit score/only take math 2?

my advice would be to take math 2 and then lit (respectively) on saturday

I don’t think a 730 in lit would kill you, as it’s a beastly test to begin with. But that might just be different standards talking, since I’m crossing my fingers to get above a 700. >0>;;

Thank you for the opinions. I’m leaning toward math then lit. Anyone else care to add their thoughts? It’d make me feel better haha

Have you taken an official SAT 2 Bio practice test? I did poorly on practice tests from Barron’s and PR a day or two before the test, but ended up with a 790 (Bio E) on the actual thing. I don’t think you should necessarily rule out bio unless you feel really uncomfortable with it.
