ok so basically i'm 100% sure i want to be a doctor. i can't see myself being any other profession. med school is crazy expensive so if i don't get into a dream school i would rather go to state school. I just don't think it's worth the debt if it's a school that i'd feel was more of a settling school or safety because i plan on going to med school not working right out of undergrad

schools i'd go to over state school:
-HYPSM, columbia, penn, uchic, amherst, dartmouth, caltech, brown, and maybe northwestern, middlebury, bowdoin, and wash u

i'm also interested in the combined med programs that are accelerated like northwestern and penn state & jeff

only problem is i don't think i can get into most, maybe even all of these because i screwed up jr year and could possibly get a b+ in ap bio, so i'm pretty mentally set on state school

however, i still want to apply to one of these ed (disregard the ea schools)

a) which school do you think i should apply to ed based on best chances? maybe penn or amherst?
b) which schools are the most inflated/easiest to get a high gpa for med school out of these?
c) should i even bother applying to the combined meds with the possible b+ in ap bio?
