I have narrowed down my three school to UMBC, Drexel, and UDel. If i attend UMBC, I would most likely transfer to CP. If money were not the issue, what would be the better school to attend? I would most likely be doing some sort of business or engineering major. Most likely business at UDel and Drexel. Although, I would consider engineering at drexel. My main concern is the campus life and what it has to offer. Also which is a better school for those areas!?

For any science-related field, I think UMBC is the right choice. It has abundant undergraduate research opportunities, as well as an intensive focus on math and science. If you go the engineering route, I think UMBC would be the best choice.

On another note: UMBC is one-third the size of UMCP, but has 3 times as many corporation affiliations as UMCP, making it ideal for job placement.

HOWEVER: Being a future retriever, I must say I am biased, but I hope I helped you out a bit! I am not well informed about UDel, so I can’t really help there.

Where do you want to be in 5 years? 10 years? How much research do you want to have? Why do you want to go to those schools in particular? Make a chart and write down the pros and cons for each one. Sometimes it is easier to decide when you have it down on paper.

It can be hard to get into those two LEP at UMD as a transfer.
