need help for my Fall schedule

here's my planned schedule
R&C R1b (may be scandivanian or african american studies, which one do u recommend?)
stats 20
econ 100a
a breadth (anything to recommend?)

btw...i'm gonna take econ100b over summer

here's my concern, i don't know if i can handle three prereq, english, stats and econ, and still manage to get good grades for econ major....what do u guys think? should i just take R&C and stats and two breadths? thx in advance

also is it safe to phase II econ 100a (limit 420)? mine telebear phase II is on July 30, which is very late, but i have to use phase I for R&C and stats...

one last question, do they take grades for R&C classes into account when they calculate the prereq GPA?

Don’t think R&C is included in your prereq gpa. It will for your non-prereq one though!

I think it’ll be okay to Phase II Econ 100A, but you might get stuck with a crappy discussion time or, if you’re not cool with that, have to sweat it out on the waitlist for one of the more popular discussions. I personally don’t have a problem with 8am discussions twice a week, so I’m not too worried about my chances of getting in during Phase II.

is it too heavy to take stat 20, econ 100a, r&c b, and a breadth?

^
It heavily depends on how strong of a student you are, but I’m willing to bet that most people would place your schedule among the easier ones.

Personally, I think that schedule would leave you with too much free time (unless you’re involved in many other activities) so taking another class on top of what you have will be reasonable (and will still leave you with a lot of free time, depending on how good of a student you are).
