I was working on my Course Selections and I found that I really need some advices and suggestions for my selections.

I am major in economics and here is my selection.

CAS 101 (I know this is required and eazy)

ENL 211 (instead of regular english course, I have to take this ESL course..Orz.

MAT 295 (I was having MAT 296 for math placement test result but MAT 296 is not one of the choices in Course Selection, can anyone explain that to me?)

for asking:
are you a Asian?
your name looks like a Asian name, especially a Chinese name.
lol~
I hope we can meet in that economic class in SYR.
enjoy the summer~

from a junior econ (B.S.) major–
are you doing B.A. or B.S.? For the B.S. you definitely need the calc…
17 credits freshman year is fine; i did it with a lot of the same courses).

fyi, ecn 203 has ~80 kids per section with a good 6 or 7 sections…pretty unlikely you two will meet. that said, the prof matters…evensky wrote the textbook used by most of the profs, and although his version is the hardest, you’ll learn the most in it. dutkowsky’s is really easy, and his powerpoints make going to class rather pointless. if you have any questions about econ later feel free to PM!

yes, you are right. I am Chinese~~
yeah you too, enjoy the summer, lol.

To zel17

I am doing B.S. and I don’t have math class in the first semester because the course selection advisor says that the MAT 296 is only available in Spring Semester…=_=

Yeah, thank you for your help~~~~~~I may PM you when I start having ECN class, haha, so sorry for the annoyance I may cause in the future.
