Need Math Help of People who have Been In My Situation, WHAT WORKED?

I would love to get a 700 on the Math section of the SAT, I know not everyone is capable of doing that, But I am willing to try. My first score was a 440, and so I took it again and got a 490, I was still displeased with this score so I took it again last Saturday, I know I didn't get a 700, but I have a strong feeling I got a 600 on it, What would be your tips for another increase in points? I wouldn't mind a high 600 either. What I have done is worked with my math teachers, and with the college board book, I have took all the math sections out of there, and I am now currently working on the online course. How many questions do you have to shoot for to get a 700?
This time around when I took the test I got about 40-42 questions, I omitted the rest, on two of the questions I am a little unsure of (student sleeping/studying, f(x) and f(g) one). I was just wondering if anyone had a low math score like me and was able to improve their score.

Just the Collegeboard book?

You should get PR and look at their math strategies. I don't think the CB book has backsolving, or plugging in answers, etc, but I could be wrong.

i would suggest getting the rocket revolution sat review book by adam robinson. but also getting the collegeboard review book.

the rocket revolution gives you a lot of strategies to do your best. but unfortunately it doesnt have many practice tests. so you should get the collegeboard review book so that you can get in as much practice as you can. and i also met adam robinson, and i can tell you that he knows what he's talking aboiut.

As a sophomore taking the PSAT, I got something really low in the 500s, but then I studied a couple of books and got a 650 this year. I found the SparkNotes math book to be the best for reviewing and for approaching different sections- it divides up the different math sections and tells you how to approach common types of problems. I prefer other books for practice tests, but the SparkNotes SAT math workbook helped me bring up my score.
