Need To Clear Up Some Information - Some Questions

  1. Are freshman allowed to double major? I heard you have to have 30 credits. I would like to double major in geosciences and economics, with maybe an eventual transfer into McCombs.
  2. If allowed, how do freshman double major? Do you apply to both schools, or do you talk to a counselor?
  3. If not geosciences, would I be able to double major in economics and history?
  4. In terms of scholarships, does your 2nd choice major notify you with a scholarship or acceptance even if you were accepted to your first major? I know Geosciences and Liberal Arts give the best scholarships.
  5. I know this is subjective, but which has a better job outlook in the future? Becoming a science teacher in Texas or a transfer to McCombs with a bachelors in accounting or finance?

Thanks!
