- Are freshman allowed to double major? I heard you have to have 30 credits. I would like to double major in geosciences and economics, with maybe an eventual transfer into McCombs.
- If allowed, how do freshman double major? Do you apply to both schools, or do you talk to a counselor?
- If not geosciences, would I be able to double major in economics and history?
- In terms of scholarships, does your 2nd choice major notify you with a scholarship or acceptance even if you were accepted to your first major? I know Geosciences and Liberal Arts give the best scholarships.
- I know this is subjective, but which has a better job outlook in the future? Becoming a science teacher in Texas or a transfer to McCombs with a bachelors in accounting or finance?
Thanks!
