Need Urgent Advice

Hey, so I have been quite angry at my English teacher because he didn't submit my LOR by the deadline, but I talked to him today and he said he did, then I watched him submit it and it still says he still hasn't submitted it. The counselor emailed Common App but of course that will take a few days.

I need some advice, I am ready to call Stanford to ask them, but I you guys are usually pretty fast.

Thanks.

Call now while they are still in the office! They may already have the LOR, but for some reason it just says that it wasn’t submitted. Instead of submitting 100 times, ask them!

Dignified, thanks for your quick reply.

I just gave Stanford a call and listened to the automated messages and they said they will send an email in a few days notifying of any missing application pieces and if they are submitted by mid-November they will be without penalty.
Whew, talk about taking a load off!

It takes a while for application materials to be processed, and sometimes things get lost in the sorting process. I remember last year there was a joined panic on the Yale SCEA board because tons of people’s application materials showed up as imcomplete, even though they already submitted them. Everyone ended up re-submitted the missing documents and it all turned out to be perfectly fine in the end :).
