I pretty much have my heart set on attending Pitt. I submitted my application about a month ago, and at this point all of my materials have been submitted as well (transcript, SAT scores, 2 letters of recommendation). Everyone keeps assuring me that I'll get in, but I'm not so confident. I'm going to list some things about me. If anyone could give me some feedback I'd greatly appreciate it! :)

So, I am looking to major in English and minor in Creative Writing. I am in the top 9% of my class, with an unweighted GPA of 90.00, weighted 96.01 (Pre-Calc is what dragged me down last year). At the end of my senior year, I will have taken 7 AP classes (US History, English Lang, Psych, Stats, Environmental, Macro, English Lit). I didn't study for the SATs when I took them November of last year, my junior year, and paid for it with a 1710 (600 in Critical Reading, 540 in Math, 570 in Writing). I'm taking them again Oct 11, and I'm hoping I can up my scores, especially in Math.

Thank you for reading all that haha. Also, how long do you think it will take to hear back from them? Will they wait until I take my SATs again? I know on the application they asked if/when I was retaking them... Thank you again!
