NEVER TOO LATE: top 150-ish schools still accepting t-apps

can we get a running list going for the procrastinators and those wanting to hedge their bets...
* = priority deadline past but will be considered on a "space-available" basis--> so does this mean don't bother?

*vanderbilt (not sure... but they said they will still consider, see above)
*american u (june 1)
northeastern (june 1)
goucher (may 1)
*tulane (june 1)

any other insight?

SCU (may 1)

Emory U - June 1

Northwestern - May 1

i’m looking to transfer OUT of emory, so i think it’s a cruel joke that its date is so much later than all the others… can we keep this list going? are there any LACs with later dates?

idwatkwia, what don’t you like at Emory?

i think grinnell is still open  thats a good LAC :)

i don’t like a lot of things… the people i know are generally shallow and spoiled, and overly concerned with money. the campus is boring and there’s not much to do. there’s no school spirit. it’s far from home and i have to fly.
i’m looking to transfer somewhere with a different atmosphere…

Rutgers New Brunswick I believe is rolling admissions.

idwatkia, probably the wrong thread

Villanova june 1

no, ns89, ukranian girl asked why i don’t like emory…

clemson is accepting rolling admissions until july or august, can’t quite remember.

oh sorry idwatkia  my bad

to make up for it, ill give u a good song :P

the clash - tommy gun ^^

so how much does it hurt your chances to apply after the “priority deadline”?
or later in rolling admissions?

Hamilton (april 15)
Elon (rolling, june 1 priority)
*Lehigh university (may 1)

idwatkia, thanks for the feedback, I’m actually considering Emory to transfer in

applying after a priority deadline will hurt your chances a great deal, as they will not even promise to look at it… you could be the best student ever and still not get admitted, because they will only look at your app if they have some extra spots… which is not very likely for a school like vanderbilt who will definitely have a lot of great applicants
but yea… if they have space, then it doesnt hurt… if they dont… then youre screwed
if you dont mind writing some extra essays and paying a few fees then go for it :)

northwestern (rolling)

^ no, northwestern is may 1, and decisions come on a rolling basis

ha…and look at me trying to transfer OUT of vanderbilt
