Letters go out next week, I believe.

That’s so exciting, good luck to everyone!

If y’all don’t mind, post on the forum if you have received a response (whether negative or positive)

We should be getting them by Friday. So nervous, me and my best friend were the ones nominated and we’ve been talking about every day in Ap Lang and lunch

Oh I know! I’m going to be away for the next few days too so I won’t be able to check the mail! I’m sure I won’t be able to stop thinking about it!

I received a response; interview on March 23rd:)

March 23rd as well!

I’m a semifinalist too! March 22nd though

Semifinalist! March 22nd

Semifinalist, for March 22nd. See you all there!

Of course I’m the awkward duck on the abandoned thread. March 22 for me too.

One week until interviews, who’s excited??!

Quite excited, just wondering what topics will be discussed in interview.

I think that’s the one thing I’m nervous about- not really knowing anything about the topic they have us discuss.

The best thing to do is not be nervous, and just be prepared for anything that can come up!

Ahh super late, but interview on March 22 too!
I can’t believe interviews are coming up so quickly - I’m so torn between excitement and nervousness.

I know! The program looks so amazing!! I hope the interview goes well, but I’m trying really hard not to get my hopes up.

Oh gosh I know! I’ve been reading about all of these amazing experiences that past scholars have had and the program just sounds fantastic! My friend actually just had her interview today at 6 and I’ve been trying so hard not to bombard her with messages about how it went haha.

I know a few people who have gone and they only have good things to say! I feel like everyone who interviews will be so qualified though! I have a decent amount of experience with group discussion though so I hope that it will pull me through! Crossing all of my fingers… I’m glad we have the tour first at least so we meet the people in our group before the actual interview

Yeah, I’m really excited to see the campus and meet people before the interview gets started - it’s always easier talking in a comfortable environment. Based off of threads, I think everyone will be super friendly
I’m just hoping that the interview will be like other discussion based experiences like a Socratic Seminar or Model UN, because I’ve always had a lot of fun during those
