<p>Because NewRez and C4 have bathrooms in your own room, the coed thing isn’t a big deal. RVC has communal washrooms. </p>
<p>Tell you parents that the res’s on the hill not only have coed floors but coed washrooms (i.e. guys and girls use the same big washrooms). As an April 1 joke, someone a couple years back, took down all the stall dividers in some of the coed washrooms. Did I hear one of your parents have a heart attack?</p>
<p>Ask your parents if they have ever stayed in a hotel with people of the opposite gender on the same floor; both NewRex and C4 are hotels; the door of your room automatically locks behind you. All rez’s are coed, and even the couple that have separate floors–well, somehow I don’t think a flight of stairs is going to prevent romance or whatever your parents are concerned about.</p>
